Our largest project so far with 36 temporary traffic signals in two systems

In the middle of Örebro's city centre, we are pushing the limits of how many traffic signals can be used simultaneously in the same project. We have made traffic flow, safely and securely, with 36 cloud-based vehicle signals and pedestrian crossings within a distance of 600 metres. Once on the road, the entire project is operated online from our cloud-based platform BerlexConnect.

Will self-driving cars understand our portable traffic signals?

We tested whether our cloud-based portable traffic signals could make self-driving vehicles understand the traffic signal and read the traffic. The test was successful and the vehicle adapted its driving according to the traffic signal. The test was conducted together with T-engineering, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor, one of China's largest automotive manufacturers, which designs and develops control systems for the automotive industry and has launched autonomous prototype vehicles in Sweden.
